Howdy Hon,

Today, we attended our little branch here in Ghana.  Most of them speak Twi only.  So when Marty and I teach Sunday School, we ask the return missionary or branch president to translate.  But for sacrament,  you just have to listen really close 🙂  We're working on our Twi studies daily!!

Here are today's snippets:

    1)  Make time for the Lord in your life daily.

    2)  As you study,  think of how the Savior can help you where you are now and the challenges that you are facing.

    3)  If you know how to fight, God will not fight for you.   But, if you don't know how to fight, God will strengthen you to prepare you for the fight.  He will lead you,  guide you,  and walk beside you.

Hi there hon!

I kinda dropped the ball on this with all our mission prep going on.  But let's start it again. SSSs!  If you don't know what this is...I share 3 things I enjoyed from lessons, talks or inspirations received while attending church on Sundays.

So here is the first Steph's Sunday Snippets from the mission field.

1.  Story:    The teacher asked the student if he knew why he was there in school today.  The student replied no.   The teacher told him that he should know why he came to school today and if he does not then go home.   The next day the teacher ask another student if he knew why he was there today.   This student said he did not.   The teacher replied he should know why he was there in school today.   If he didn't know then go home.   The third day the teacher asked the whole class if they knew why they were there today.   Half the class knew why and half of the class did not.  The teacher said, "Okay,  those of you who know, teach the ones that don't know."

2.  The gospel of God IS the right way.

3.  Ask the Lord one of these question often:

*"What would you have me do today?"          *"Who do you want me to help today?"

*"Who can I lift up or bring joy to today?"

*Where can I shine God's light to bring someone out of darkness?"

And just because I love you....here's an

extra:    Be covenant keepers!

Have a blessed week!
